Christmas in Dale City
On Christmas morning we said goodbye to Tim’s family and drove to Dale City to celebrate Christmas with my family. Mom made a huge Christmas feast with a turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberries, etc. Of course we stuffed ourselves silly, but it was all so yummy. We also celebrated my sisters birthday which was on the 23rd. The kids had a blast opening all of their gifts, even Tyler was awake to open up some of his gifts.
Tyler received: a Baby Einstein Ocean Wonders tummy time mat (which he absolutely loves!) and some cool baby toys.
Tim and I got some new Pacific Coast pillows that we have wanted for a long time. They are the same pillows they have at the Hilton and they are awesome!

Tyler meets Greg and Adrienne
On Monday, we went to visit Greg and Adrienne who live about 45 minutes away from Hopewell. Tyler was a little fussy, but felt better after a short cat nap on Adrienne while Daddy and Greg played Guitar Hero World Tour.

Tyler’s First Visit to Portsmouth
On Saturday we drove to Portsmouth and Tyler got to meet his Great Grandma Renfrow and some of his Great-aunts and uncles. He really enjoyed meeting everyone. Mike and Cheryl were celebrating their family Christmas a little early so we also got to see some of his 2nd and 3rd cousins too. It was a such a wonderful, memorable visit.

Christmas in Hopewell
I hope it was a wonderful Christmas for all of you. I think this may have been my best yet!
Tyler’s first Christmas started the Friday before, when we packed all our things and headed to Hopewell to visit with Tim's family. While we were there Tyler made some new friends and even traveled to Portsmouth to meet his Great Grandma and some of his Great-aunts and uncles.
On Christmas Eve we went over to Angela’s to have dinner and open presents. There was a ton of delicious food and all of the kids had a great time opening their presents, except Tyler who slept through most of it. He says thank you to his cousin Bryson for letting him use his crib so he could take a nap!
Tyler received: a Coach diaper bag (ok this was more for mommy, but it is holding all his stuff!), some Baby Einstein Discovery Flash cards, a First Christmas photo album, a cool pair of shoes, clothes and a few baby toys. Santa also brought him a Froggy umbrella.
Tim received: a replacement USMC ring (that was lost a few years ago that we have desperately tried to find with no luck), some clothes and Jeep parts.
Kelly received: a new camera, some perfume and spending money to go shopping!
