Kyle still had a fever this morning so I took him back to the doctor. They tested him for the flu in the office and the test was negative, so I had to take him to get some lab work done. Holding your 3 month old down on a table while two technicians work to draw blood from his tiny arm is heartbreaking. I hate he had to go through this today, but fortunately the results have all be negative so far.

Kyle's First Fever and Sick Appointment
Poor Kyle is not feeling well. He has his first fever of 101.8 and possible pink eye so I took him to the doctor tonight. While the doctor examined him Kyle kept smiling at her. She said it is obvious he doesn't feel well, but the fact he was smiling makes her think that his fever may just be a virus versus a bacterial infection. However if he has a fever of 100 or more in the morning he has to come back to be checked. She gave him a prescription to treat his pink eye and we made an appointment for 9:20am tomorrow morning. They did weigh him while we were there and he is 15lbs already!

Kyle is 3 Months Old!
Today Kyle is officially 3 months old. He is such an amazing little boy. He has started smiling at us and cooing. He enjoys playing in his jumperoo and swinging in his swing. He also loves his playmat. Here are a few pictures I took of him this weekend.

Tyler's 2 Year Checkup
We took Tyler for his 2 year well check-up. Turns out his fever is due too an ear infection and my poor little man has pink eye in both eyes. I feel like such a bad mom for not realizing the fever this weekend was an ear infection. We have to go back in two weeks to get his vaccinations, but in the meantime here is how he is measuring up:
* Weight: 27lbs 13.5oz / 40%
* Height: 36 in / 85%
* Head Circumference: 20 / 93%
Basically he is a tall, thin, and big headed boy. LOVE HIM!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Tyler is still not feeling well today, but we attempted to go trick or treating. It didn't go over very well. The neighborhood got together and went as a group. To ease the kids into the whole trick or treating concept we started at our friends Ingrid and Tony's house. I don't know if Tyler just wasn't expecting someone to open the door or what but he took off running and crying as soon as Ingrid opened her door. Tim took him back to the door to show him it was just Ingrid and Tony but that didn't help either. We tried another house and it was obvious that Tyler wanted no part of trick or treating this year so we just took him home. He did get to enjoy the single bag of M&Ms he got.

Tyler is 2!
Happy Birthday to my little man! Today was Tyler's 2nd birthday. We did a joint party with his friends Ashleigh and Matthew who will be turning 2 in two weeks. We invited all of his friends and had a costume party. Unfortunately Tyler hasn't been feeling well and even had a 102.5 fever last night. I think he had a good time overall, but he refused to put on his costume and he cried/whined a lot throughout the day. He got some great presents to include his new cars, pajamas, new bedding sets, his woody and goofy dolls, books, games, play doh, and puzzles. Thank you to everyone that made this birthday a great day for Tyler. Well I just took his temperature again and he is back to 102.5. I hope he is feeling better in the morning.

Cox Farm 2010
Today we went to Cox Farms for their Fall Festival. We had a great time, except for the fact it was really hot for October. While there Tim and Tyler went down a Giant slide, we walked through the CORNudrum cornfield, visited Goat Village, played at the Kiddie Zone, rode the Hay Ride, and saw lots of farm animals and their babies. The boys also got a patch pumpkin each to take home. Can't wait to go back next year!
