Tyler's Easter Basket!!!
I know it is a little early for Easter, but I wanted to get Tyler an Easter basket he can use for years to come and here it is! The only thing that I wish was different is the thread color that was used for his name, but they didn't give me an option..jpg)

Tyler's 4 Month Appointment
Yesterday was Tyler's 4 month check-up with his pediatrician. Here's how he is measuring up:
Weight: 13lbs 11oz - 23%
Height: 25 3/4in - 75%
Head Circumference: 16 3/4 - 50%
Basically we have ourselves one long lean baby boy - ha. Tyler did get a number of vaccines yesterday which resulted in a temperature today. This morning before he went to daycare he had a temperature of 100.4. I gave him some Tylenol and took him to daycare. Daycare called me around 10am this morning to say Tyler's temperature was 100.2, but that he was in good spirits and eating well. They said they would continue to monitor his temperature and let me know if there were any changes. Around 2:30 they called back to say Tyler's temperature was up to 102.4. So I called his pediatrician, made him an appointment and left work to get him. When I walked into the infant room Tyler gave me the biggest smile. His teacher said overall he was acting okay, but that he did have a runny nose/congestion and of course the fever. I took him to his appointment and his pediatrician said he is either coming down with a cold or it is due to his vaccines. She is putting her money on the vaccines since this came on so quickly. They gave Tyler a little Tylenol and sent us on our way. So we are going to keep an eye on his temperature and keep up o his Tylenol and hopefully he'll be feeling better soon. Because his temperature was over 101, we have to keep him home from daycare tomorrow. So Meemaw is going to come up and visit with us!

Family Portraits
This past Sunday after church we took Tyler to get a family portrait taken. I think we got a couple of pretty cute shots even though he really wasn't cooperating since he was tired.

Tyler’s First Day at Daycare
Well I knew the day was coming and this morning we took Tyler to his very first day of daycare. I started off okay, as I was being shown what needs to be done each morning upon dropping him off, but as I was getting ready to take a picture with his teacher holding him my eyes began to fill up with tears. Before I was even able to snap the picture, I had to give him a quick kiss (for the millionth time) and leave before I really broke down. So the picture with his teacher holding him was taken at the end of the day when we went to pick him up. When we picked him up this afternoon he immediately started smiling and cooing at us. I think he was trying to tell us he had a good day.

Happy New Year!!!
This year for New Years Eve, we decided to stay home and invite some friends over for a laid back evening. The kids had a great time and even stayed awake to see their very first New Years! Chrissy, James and Aidan stayed the night so the boys got to play some more the next morning. I think they had a lot of fun!
